Harold Weller was the owner of Action Promotions, promoting British wrestling from 1978 to 1990. A member of the British Wrestling Alliance.
Dee Jones was a fast and agile lightweight from Hyde, Cheshire. Dee was a true all action star who wowed the fans with her brilliant “high flying” style of wrestling. Her many memorable contests against the equally talented Goldie Wells were indeed fast and fantastic.
Dee was never afraid to take on heavier opposition, and truly welcomed the challenge. Dee always fought to the rules, employing a good clean competitive style to win bouts.
However, towards the end of her career Dee was chosen as the unlikely tag team partner of Lady Satan. Unfortunately some of Satan’s tactics were then adopted by De, very much against the wishes of her many followers who far preferred her original style.
Dee left the sport in 1987, a great pity as this superb wrestler had all what it takes to be a future champion.
