Lady Satan

By Harold Weller

Harold Weller was the owner of Action Promotions, promoting British wrestling from 1978 to 1990. A member of the British Wrestling Alliance.

Lady Satan uses the ropes to toss Jodie Lee across the ring.

Like her or loathe her, Lady Satan was probably the most successful of all the BWA Lady wrestlers.

She was known for her blatant disregard of the rules of professional wrestling. She would use just about every trick in the book to wear her opponents down and even some referee`s would give her a wide berth, However under this mantle Lady Satan was a superb wrestler who excited her many fans with a mixture of skill and entertainment. She was totally merciless and would inflict a high degree of pain to all that faced up to her.

After several years of retirement Action Promotions finally persuaded Sue Brittain to make a return to the ring for a few bouts under the guise of Lady Satan. Satans debut was against Jodie Lee, a far heftier and much younger opponent. After a really hard battle, the Hooded Vixens skill and prowess saw her  emerge victorious over her powerful opponent much to the delight of her adoring fans. Satans brief return went on for an amazing two years, undefeated as she took on some of the finest BWA contenders. A true Mistress of submissions, together with a multitude of Pins and Knock-Outs to her credit.

Her final efforts were absorbed into mentoring and coaching Kelly Youngblood, who went on to become the very last BWA Ladies Champion. Something this great wrestler was very proud of.
