Harold Weller was the owner of Action Promotions, promoting British wrestling from 1978 to 1990. A member of the British Wrestling Alliance.
Six foot tall, blonde powerhouse Sandy Storm was active in the rings during 1981-2. Where possible “Rocker Sandy” drove up to the ringside on the back of a motorbike, wearing elaborate make-up, crash helmet and leathers.
Sandy started her training in the same class as the illustrious Jodie Lee. Even more experienced opponents found it difficult to contain such a strong and towering contender.
Sandy, from Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, suddenly disappeared from the scene after a string of victories. Sadly, like so many other hopefuls, a great pity as this superb strong-girl could have gone all the way to the top.
