The Black Widow prepares for her match with Jodie Lee
A powerful body slam from the Black Widow

Strong, tough, and powerful … ..these are the words that describe the Black Widow.

A no-nonsense wrestler who loved nothing better than to mix it with anyone who entered the ring to face her.

Her main claim to fame was to wrestle the great Jodie Lee in front of a huge crowd in her home town of Ashton-under-Lyne in Greater Manchester in 1984.

The Black Widow knew she was in for a tough battle with the statuesque Jodie, but this made her all the more determined to perform her best before her cheering fans.

Known as a rule bender, she was definitely not one to be crossed.

The Black widow sported a huge spider tattoo on her arm and specialised in painful submissions. But would all her power and skill match up to the awesome Jodie Lee? Or would the Black Widow be terminated in her home town?

The pictures tell the story….
